Meeting Every Child’s Needs
A free webcast called "Differentiated Reading Instruction" is now available any time, day or night, on the Reading Rockets Web site. Early Reading First Grant Applications Available
Early Reading First Grant applications are now available. Early Ready First Grants are allocated to organizations that serve preschool populations with high-quality instruction with a strong focus on early reading skills.

The 38th Annual Conference on Reading and Writing
The Annual Conference on Reading and Writing presented by the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education will take place on March 30th and 31st. It includes many workshops geared toward the early educator.

Starfall Learn-to-Read Web site
The Starfall Learn-to-Read Web site is offered free as a public service. Starfall is a great resource for teachers and parents as it provides ways to make the classroom more fun and to inspire a love of reading and writing. Materials are primarily designed for first grade, but are also useful for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and second grade.
