Recognizing and Responding to Difficulties with Learning
The University of North Carolina's Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG) has recently completed a review of research that underscores the importance of recognizing and responding to critical early warning signs of learning difficulties in young children. The report summarizes their current thinking on how to create an effective system for spotting signs of struggle in young children and intervening before they have a chance to experience school failure.
