New "E-Books" Available BookFlix is a new Web site from Scholastic that pairs interactive video storybooks with related nonfiction e-books. Disney Publishing Group is also planning to join the e-book bandwagon, making favorites like The Jungle Book and Cinderella available for download online. Read for the Record 2007 On September 20, 2007, Jumpstart's Read for the Record is asking adults across the country to read the same book on the same day to raise public awareness about disparities in early education. The program aims to break last year’s record of 150,000 people with this year's book, The Story of Ferdinand.
