Read for the Record 2007
On September 20, 2007, Jumpstart's Read for the Record is asking adults across the country to read the same book on the same day to raise public awareness about disparities in early education. The program aims to break last year’s record of 150,000 people with this year's book, The Story of Ferdinand.

"Ask the Experts" about Recognition & Response
Check out the Recognition & Response home page for the new "Ask the Experts" feature.  Every two weeks, a new question from early childhood educators in the field will be answered by the experts at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG).  The answer will lead you to resources on the Web site that will help you bring Recognition & Response into your classroom or program.  If you have a question that you would like the Recognition & Response team from FPG to consider, please send it to .
