The Get Ready to Read! Web site is full of free resources that can easily be accessed on library computers. Families can use these resources online and librarians can print out activities and information that parents can use with their children. Booklists to accompany the Get Ready to Read! Activity Cards
The Middle Country Public Library Children's Services Department has created these bibliographies to go with the Get Ready to Read! activity cards. There are three books listed for each card. They are perfect for suggestions to parents or to include in programs that may focus on particular activities. There is a list for the emergent writing activities, print knowledge activities, and linguistic awareness activities.
